Zoey and I want to thank you all from the bottom of our hearts! Over the course of 27 days, Spirit Train has been 6,140% funded with $614,011 raised from 4,073 backers. We can't express how much we appreciate each and every one of you. We are already hard at work getting the manufacturing process started, so we can get you your game as soon as possible!
Top 10 Final Vote For Your Favorite Plushie!
Thank you to those who participated in the initial vote for plushies! The search has been narrowed down to the top 10 and we need your help in deciding which 3 spirits will get to become real life plushies!
Just as before, scroll to the bottom to cast your vote! Make it count! The poll won't let you change your vote after it's been cast! The top 3 spirits will be chosen, and those who pledged for the Golden Ticket Collection will be able to pick the spirit they'd like included with their pledge in the pledge manager after the campaign.
Voting will end on Thursday, September 17th.
Next Steps: The Pledge Manager and Shipping
We will be using BackerKit to manage pledges and shipping/fulfillment costs after the campaign. Due to the current volatility of shipping costs, shipping payments will be collected in Backerkit well after the end of the campaign, close to our shipping date, and will be based on actual shipping costs incurred. This will allow us to present the most accurate and up-to-date prices to pass savings onto you, our valued backers! Here's how it will work:
1. You will receive an email from BackerKit a few weeks from now to confirm your pledge and add any additional items you would like. In the BackerKit survey, you will be able to:
- Confirm your pledge.
- Add any additional items you would like to get.
2. A few weeks before fulfillment (before we ship the game to you), you will receive another email from Backerkit. In the second Backerkit survey, you will be able to:
- Pay for shipping costs on the spot.
- Pay for taxes/VAT (if applicable) on the spot as well.

We'll be sending updates at different milestones during production and shipping so you all know where we're at during the process. This is the part of Kickstarter campaigns where there are A LOT of moving parts. We've fulfilled enough projects to know that things can get messy, slip through the cracks or just plain get mixed up, but we want everyone to know that we are here to help and will make absolutely certain that each and every one of you gets the products from your order. We did it! We just passed $500,000 with the help of over 3,200 amazing backers! We are so incredibly grateful to each and every one of you!!
Along the way, we unlocked our $425,000 stretch goal for a redesigned Cycle Tracker. Check out the new design! Thanks for the suggestions about the conductor's hat! :)
Also, thanks to your help, we are now able to include 1 free plushie in all Golden Ticket Collection pledges!

*A couple spirits are not included in the options for various reasons, like we didn't think they would lend themselves very well to manufacturing, but we tried to include as many as possible.*

3,535% FUNDED + New Stretch Goal Reveal!

With about 2 weeks left, we just passed our $350,000 stretch goal from over 2,300 amazing backers! We can't believe how quickly we've reached this mark, and are so incredibly grateful to each and every one of you!!
Thanks to your help, we are now able to include printed meeples in all pledge tiers!
2 New Stretch Goals Including....
Time to reveal the next 2 goals! Those who follow us on social media have been guessing what might be coming next, and many of you have guessed correctly :)
The plushies are a goal we desperately want to reach because we think they'll be so cute and fun! We are still gathering some info from the factory on these, so we'll have more details soon on how many spirits we may have available, etc. (if the goal is reached).

Only 4 days in, and we're already over $240,000 funded from 1,581 backers! We are so grateful for every one of you, and are excited to see more stretch goals being unlocked! The next stretch goal is within our sights and we've come up with an easy way for backers to help unlock even more goals :)
The Vacant Seat Contest
We’ve made a little game for our fellow gamers in honor of the Spirit Train Kickstarter!
Over the next three weeks, you’ll have the opportunity to earn points (aka tickets) through certain actions listed on our contest page (Example: liking a post on social media, etc.).
The 3 people with the most points at the end of three weeks will win 1 of 3 Grand Prizes.
The Grand Prize not only includes everything our Kickstarter has to offer for free, BUT it also gives you the opportunity to add your own Spirit to the game! You will get input on their:
- Name
- Appearance
- Hobbies
- Personality
- Backstory
- A couple of Important Memories

We can't put into words how blown away we are at the overwhelming support for Spirit Train! So far we are 1,462% funded with $146,295 raised from over 950 backers! We cannot begin to thank you all enough for an amazing first day. (Amaze amaze amaze!)
We've been working on this game for the past 5 years, and our incredible artist, Maruša Gorjup, has been working on it for the past 2 and a half years so it feels surreal to actually be sharing it with everyone!
We have already unlocked our first major stretch goal and are on our way to unlocking the second. We got there a lot faster than we ever thought possible, so we're hard at work on a couple more fun goals just in case :)
